These are the Recruiter Chicks — Chris Havrilla and Teela Jackson! Recruiter Chicks is a blog that brings together two seasoned recruiting professionals to share their vast experience on hiring with job seekers. You can follow them on Twitter at @RecruiterChicks.

In addition to being accomplished recruiters, they are both fantastic people and great friends to Career Hangout — so we’re excited to have them share their expertise with you. You can learn more about Chris and Teela below.

Career Hangout is hosted by a cool new offering by the Googles called Hangouts On Air. Check out: What is Hangouts On Air (HOA)?

HOA is feature that allows you to broadcast your Google Hangouts live for anyone to view. Viewers can watch the broadcasts with Google+, watch a live stream on the accompanying YouTube channel, or watch an embedded video on any website. You can learn more about Google HOA on their official Hangouts On Air Guide.

We are going to embed the video broadcasts to our live weekly shows inside of the CHO website to make it easy to watch each week. Our broadcasts will be interactive, so we’ll want to hear what’s on your mind during the shows. If you have any questions for our guests or hosts during the show, send us a tweet using the #cho hashtag. Our Producers will keep an eye out for your questions so we can ask our guests during the show. If you miss a live broadcast — no worries. We’re recording all the shows and posting the archives on this site.

We’ll have polls and other opportunities for you to provide input on shows, future guests and companies you’d like to hear about.

Quick disclaimer – we’re new to Hangouts and video chats.  The production value may reflect that in the early days. Bear with us. We’ll work hard to get better. We look forward to hanging out with all of you starting next week!
